Tessa Gerald-Alridge is a certified event designer who provides the creation of elegant room design transformations, for clients who are getting married, celebrating anniversaries, milestone events, corporate or Non-Profit launches, employee appreciations, and holiday celebrations, so that her clients can have a stress-free, seamless event that is executed to their wishes.

Tessa is a well-versed veteran and has 34+ years combined in the hospitality industry as a special event drapery, décor designer, and certified event wedding specialist.

Tessa started creating unique designs for family and friends at small celebrations in her home. With a love for entertainment and attention to detail, she wanted to gain more experience in large venue settings, so Tessa began working in the hotel hospitality industry. She had a plan, she started as an event coordinator, and eventually worked her way up the hotel ladder and became Banquet Manager. In this role, she oversaw banquets and restaurant operations with a staff of 25 plus. This experience was an invaluable education on providing five-star customer service for a wide range of events: multi-cultural (Asian, African American, Indian, and Italian) weddings, social events, corporate meetings for over 1500 attendees, spatial relationships, etc.; This also provided the knowledge base for Tessa to open her business.

After ten years of crafting her visions for others, in 2000 she took her talents in conjunction with her experience in the hotel hospitality industry and ventured out and formed “TMG Unique Event Designs”. Today TMG Enterprise NY LLC is an accomplished company that creates seamless events that easily showcase their client’s sensibility and style.

Tessa takes refresher hospitality and design courses to stay current in the industry and to create fresh concepts and inspirations for her clients. There is no event too small or too large for Tessa's team to handle.

Tessa is co-founder of Entrepreneur Life, Inc., a non-profit organization that gives back to the community. In her spare time, Tessa enjoys quality time with her family, cooking, dancing, mentoring, hosting events for family and friends, and traveling.

To Date, TMG Unique Event Designs has expanded from New York to Charlotte NC /South Carolina.
